Streamer University 2026: the gear to show up ready
Kai Cenat brought back Streamer University, a multi-day event where aspiring and growing creators learn from professors across streaming niches. Applications are sealed and the class is being announced soon. If you got in, or you just want to stream like you did, the question is the same: what setup do you actually need? Here is how to build one that is ready to go live, by how you plan to stream.
Applying with a cameraman? You need a mobile rig
The Streamer University application has a cameraman section, and a lot of the content is shot on the move. That means an IRL backpack: a camera into an encoder, bonded data so the stream holds in a crowd, and a relay so a dropped connection becomes a quick BRB instead of a restarted stream. Our configurator estimates the exact stream quality your rig can hold, and the guide below covers swapping between a desk and a mobile setup with one button.
The 2026 class and faculty
Winners are announced soon. Once the official students, professors, and club directors are named, we will list them here with the gear we can confirm from their setups, so you can build the same. Early faculty interest already includes names like QTCinderella and Lacy. Check back, or browse the streamer setups we already cover.
